Assisting Schools in Teacher Recruitment

Best Practice Network has launched 'The Teacher Directory' - a valuable tool aimed at addressing teacher recruitment challenges in our local area.

How it works:

Schools access a pool of pre-interviewed and ITT-ready prospective teachers, interview those they like, and opt to receive alerts when new trainees are added that meet their local recruitment needs. This invaluable resource is completely free for schools and designed to help support new teachers into the profession.

The Teacher Directory can be accessed here. We recommend registering your school to be kept up to date with any newly added teachers that match your search criteria.

These prospective teachers are seeking either placement within a school, or apprenticeship employment whilst they complete their QTS. They will be in-class and teaching between 50% and 80% of the timetable, helping you overcome any staffing shortages.
