We exist to support high-quality teaching and leadership so that schools and educational organisations can thrive — and, most importantly, so that young people achieve and flourish. 

As a Teaching School Hub, our role is defined by the Department for Education. We deliver and connect schools to professional development, leadership support, and evidence-informed practice.  

The core activities we undertake: 

• Delivery of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) 

• Delivery of Early Career Teacher Entitlement (ECTE) including Early Career Training Programmes 

• Delivery of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) 

• Provision of Appropriate Body (AB) services for early career teachers (ECTs) 

• Signposting other Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities that are available through DfE approved training programmes and working with Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence (RISE) teams to assist the effective delivery of RISE support
