Set up and manage the ECTE for 25/26 AY - register your ECTs
Schools must report to the DfE if they expect any ECTs or Mentors to start training in the 25/26 AY. This is so the DfE can arrange the relevant funding and/ or access to training materials.
If your school does not expect any ECTs or Mentors, you still need to report this to the DfE.

School’s and Induction Tutor’s can login to the Manage training for early career teachers DfE service to set up and manage the ECTE for any ECTs or Mentors who will start training at any point this academic year.

In addition to registering ECTs on the Manage training for early career teachers DfE service, they must be registered directly with the school’s appointed Appropriate Body (AB) before the start of their induction.
