We are delighted to announce that HISP Teaching School Hub has gained Institutional Member Status of the Chartered College of Teaching. Gaining this is an important symbol of our work to empower a knowledgeable and respected teaching profession through membership and accreditation.
We are delighted to announce that HISP Teaching School Hub has been successfully re-designated by the Department for Education as the Teaching School Hub for: Eastleigh, Fareham, Gosport, Havant, the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, the New Forest, Southampton, Test Valley and Winchester, for the next four years.
The new Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF), published by the DfE on Wednesday 31 January 2024, combines and updates the Initial Teacher Training Core Content Framework (CCF) and the Early Career Framework (ECF). It will ensure that all new teachers receive three or more years of training underpinned by the best available evidence. This will help ensure high quality teaching and improve pupil outcomes. Combining the two frameworks ensures a more joined-up development journey from initial teacher training into a teacher's first two years in the classroom.
