Applying for an NPQ with BPN: 2024-2025 Applications

*** Autumn 2024 Applications Now Open ***

To find out more and to apply for your chosen NPQ programme, please visit: NPQs for UK Schools | Best Practice Network.

Before applying, please speak to your Headteacher or CPD Lead about getting support to do an NPQ. An in-school performance coach will need to be identified.

For all NPQs you must register on the DfE portal at this link. - Please note the DfE application portal is currently closed and will reopen in July 2024.

Please select ‘Best Practice Network’ as your Lead Provider. We recommend registering using a personal email address, which will reduce the likelihood of BPN emails being screened out by school anti-malware systems.

You also need a teacher reference number (TRN) to register for an NPQ, even if you’re not a teacher. Learn about TRNs including how to request one if you do not have one.

If you work in early years or childcare, check if your workplace is registered with Ofsted and get their Ofsted unique reference number (URN) if they have one.

Before registering for an NPQ, you’ll be asked to create a DfE Identity account or sign in to your account.

We look forward to working with you on your chosen NPQ programme. In the meantime, if you have any questions please email: npqs@hisptsh.org

You can also contact BPN directly if you have any questions about the application process: enquiries@bestpracticenet.co.uk
